Completion of production and announcement of a new project: Urban Battle

As we announced in the previous update in February, the production of all games for this project is finished. Since it is a small number of copies, the production did not last long. In February, we sent packages to backers who ordered Carom Mini Golf and Dynamic Expansion, and soon we will start sending packages containing Carom Golf and Garbage Expansion. We remind backers to check their emails because UPS sends emails to the recipient the day before delivery. Since packages with Carom Golf games are sent parallel to packages from some of our other projects, the whole process will take 10 to 15 days.
In the meantime, we have also sent all the Print and Play files to the backers who paid for that option and to everyone else who paid for one of the physical copies of the game.
We hope that the game Carom Golf will gradually gain popularity as it was the case with Carom Mini Golf. During production, we tried to ensure that all elements of the game were at a high level of quality.
New project: Urban Battle
Our next Kickstarter project (on the main Forsage Games profile) will be the Urban Battle board game.
It is a simple game that by all criteria falls into the 'EasyPlay' category (which is indicated on the game box). The game was created by compiling the best solutions from several of our earlier tank games (Tank Chess, Panzer Strike and an early concept predating both of them). There will be several variants of the game, offered at very favorable prices considering the contents. Depending on the variant, the game contains 50 to 100 tank pieces, with which very diverse scenarios can be played. The time required to prepare the game is extremely short: only 1 to 3 minutes.
The rules are short and simple, with many illustrated examples. There are three game modes, with minor differences in the rules but the character of the game depends very much on the chosen mode:
1. BASIC MODE – relaxed, fluid game, with the influence of luck (with dice)
2. ABSOLUTE MODE – without the luck factor (no dice), more strategic gameplay
3. REALISTIC MODE – more realistic firing angles, requires using a ruler

(Trial edition mostly contains tank pieces in some camo colors, such as gray and olive green, but in the meantime we decided to make them red and blue in serial production, for several reasons.)
Production and delivery

The games and expansions pledged by backers during the Kickstarter campaign are being produced these days. Realistically, all items are very easy to produce, and the number of copies ordered is also low. We could have produced such a small print run on digital printers, but we still decided to do a larger series on offset printing machines. We have experience with a previous Kickstarter project - Carom Mini Golf, which also had a relatively low number of backers during the campaign, but after that the game and its expansion sold well through our website and retailers. Similarly, we believe that the Carom Golf game has enough quality to be successfully sold in the future.
If we didn't have obligations to the backers from some previous projects - all the games from this project would be produced and delivered before the estimated time, as was the case in the Carom Mini Golf project. This time we have delayed the production, but the deliveries will start on time, already in a few days (February 2025, as announced in the campaign). We have locked shipping addresses in the BackerKit pledge manager. Packages with Carom Golf games will be sent in parallel with packages from previous projects, so the process will take several weeks.
